Copyright

The artist retains full copyright on all artwork that is produced, including mock ups and prints. When a painting is commissioned, I reserve the right to display it on my website and social media pages. Clients that don’t want to have their commissioned painting shown online must let me know before work on the painting starts.

Payment

A $50 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your custom painting space and goes toward the purchase of your painting. The remaining balance is due at the time of completion and must be paid in full before the order will be shipped out. I accept PayPal and Credit Cards through Square invoicing. Please let me know if you need a monthly installment plan and I will work with you to accommodate this.

Most items ship between 3-5 days after portrait completion and approval. Please be aware that I work on a first-come, first-served basis, and sometimes waitlist times are a few months out. Please contact me to make sure that the painting can be completed and delivered in the time you need.

Shipping

All orders are securely shipped with a tracking number to the address that you provide. If the order is a gift, it can be shipped directly to the recipient. Please indicate the address at the time of booking.

Cancellations

Clients have a 7-day money-back guarantee after the initial date of payment of the deposit to cancel their portrait for a full refund. Cancellations must be made by email, and upon cancellation, the client forfeits their place on the waiting list.

If a client cancels after 7 days, the payment will be retained to cover the artist’s time, mock-ups, emails, administration, and payment fees.

If a client cancels after the start of work, 75% of the total quoted amount is due to the artist to cover the artist’s time, mock-ups, emails, administration, payment fees, and materials used.

Changes and Rejection of Finished Paintings

Upon receiving the approved portrait, a client has 7 days to reach out about any necessary changes. If the painting needs to be returned for changes, the client will be responsible for the cost of shipping both ways.

Gift Vouchers

Gift certificates are valid from the date of purchase and can be redeemed towards original artwork or any items for sale in my online store. Gift certificates cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

Damage in Delivery

Paintings are exceptionally packaged for shipping; however, in the unlikely event that there is damage in transit, please send me a photo of the damaged artwork immediately. The order must be returned to me, and I will create a new portrait at no additional charge. The new painting will be added to my client waiting list.

Lead Time

I often have a client waiting list, and lead times will depend on the number of paintings booked into my schedule and the time of year. I will provide a scheduled completion date upon response to your inquiry. For a specific deadline, I will do my best to accommodate the special request.

Privacy Policy

The artist will not sell, distribute, or lease your personal information to any third parties.

Prints

While I have taken every care to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of prints according to the original paintings, the artist cannot guarantee a 100% likeness due to scan settings, individual monitor settings, and screen settings.
